For many years Julia worked as a commission artist in Scottsdale/Paradise Valley, Arizona.  

Known for specializing in kiln-fired ceramic tile, many of her designs grace the upscale custom homes of the area.

Demand for her work led to producing a line of children’s personalized birth plates sold by specialty boutiques and catalogs across the country and shipped through out the world. 

Not limited to china and porcelain, over the years her interests have included the illustration of children’s books, commercial advertisement and privately collected paintings. Working in oil, acrylic, watercolor and pencil, she adeptly captures a diverse range of subject matter.
